Paul Flynn was appointed Director of Finance and Resources and Secretary of Dublin Institute of Technology in 2008. Prior to this appointment, he was the Finance Officer of the Institute from 2001. Previously Paul worked in telecommunications for three years and also spent 19 years in the Electricity Supply Board. During his time in ESB Paul carried out a wide variety of roles including the production of ESB statutory accounts, implementation of several Information Systems, Management Accounting, Internal Audit and International Consultancy assignments in Asia. Paul is a qualified Chartered Secretary and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Paul completed an MBA from Dublin City University (DCU) in 2009 with a focus on leadership and the management of change.
