Scéim 2012-Íomhá Suíomh

Student Irish Language Residency Scheme 2012/13

'Níl aon tinteán mar do thinteán féin!'

DIT offers scholarships to DIT students to share accommodation through the medium of Irish during the academic year in Dublin city centre.

Irish is the spoken language of the residence and participants actively promote and encourage the use of Irish on DIT campuses and amongst DIT’s student community by organising Irish language social and cultural events.

Successful students receive a scholarship from DIT towards the accommodation costs and the scheme is a unique opportunity to live through the medium of Irish with other DIT students.

The scheme is open to current full-time and prospective DIT students studying on any programme in the Institute. Further information on the Scéim Cónaithe Gaeilge is available from Oifig na Gaeilge at 01 4027043 / gaeilge@dit.ie
