Prospective students - PhD Opportunities

Do you want to be at the cutting edge of your field? Are you innovative? Are you a creative problem solver? Do you enjoy delving deeper into your field of study and developing new ideas? Do you enjoy independent analytic and creative research?
If you answer yes to any of the above, then maybe you should think about becoming a graduate research student. You will learn skills that will stand to you for the rest of your career and having a graduate degree will put you ahead of the pack when it comes to applying for your first job.
As a graduate student you will learn how to work independently while at the same time making a valuable contribution to a research team. You will learn how to design experiments, test theoretical hypotheses, describe your results and present your conclusions to experts in the field. DIT's graduate research students are supervised by at least two experienced supervisors who are experts within the field of research being studied and will provide support and guidance to the student throughout their time in DIT. As a graduate student you will be given the opportunity to present your research findings at international conferences and in peer reviewed journals and you will be enrolled in DIT's structured PhD programme.
